In July 2025, the Akphivath Neary Khmer Organization coordinated with local authorities, village and commune leaders, the Kampeng Community Forest Committee, teachers, target students, and forest rangers from the Department of Agriculture. A total of 89 participants joined the event, including 40 women, to organize a tree-planting activity in celebration of Arbor Day, which is held annually. As a result of the event, 250 trees were planted, including kranhoung (Dalbergia cochinchinensis), beng (Afzelia xylocarpa), and neang nuon species. Additionally, 50 tree saplings were donated to Kampeng Secondary School and Kampeng Primary School. Afterward, the Community Forest Committee continued planting more trees within the community forest area, adding another 1,200 trees.
